Alright. This quilt comes with a disclaimer: I don't think these pictures do this one justice.
In any case, this quilt is just fab-u-lous in person. The colors are so rich and vibrant!
Nan came across this blog and wanted to help. She worked hard to finish this quilt in a jiffy in order to have it to me in time for this auction. Isn't that so kind?
She put half-square triangles together to form flying geese. Just like I did for Chelse's quilt. I just love her use of solids! There are so many lovely fabrics in this one.
She quilted it using an all over meander. This quilt is just perfect for... anyone, really! I think it'd make a great gift for that modern mom you know who is expecting. Not sure if she likes quilts? Oh, she'll like this one!
It's also a great size to cover a toddler bed. Or to make forts with? Yes, please! All of the above.
Here is the back - it's a wholecloth of this sweet birdie fabric (below).
You know what to do... make that new mom (or little girl) in your life so happy by winning this quilt. Remember: 100% of the proceeds will help kids with brain tumors.
